The Aviation Theory Centre is developing reference manuals and course materials in conjunction with Remote Aviation Australia, a Brisbane company that offers formal training in the piloting and operation of Remotely Piloted Aircraft – for private, commercial and agricultural use. The formal agreement was announced today.
The photo shows the team of Andrew Learmonth, David Robson and Ryan McMahon.
ATC believes that remotely piloted aircraft can be a wonderful asset to our society if the operators are responsible and the pilots trained appropriately.
There is much confusion in the media and general public about the legal and neighbour-friendly operation of ‘drones’.
This expert team will offer a training and awareness program that will address those issues.
The books will be available to the general public.
Release date is anticipated to be in April 2017.
